Poor choice The socks were advertised as non-elastic crew socks. Perhaps some elastic would help them stay up. Within minutes of putting them on they were around my ankles. I made a poor choice. At the end of the day, they all went in the trash. March 25, 2014
Found some men's socks I am not allergic to As I grow older, I have developed a skin allergy that seems to be to plastic and nylon. It appears that wearing cotton socks overcomes the problem. I wore the white socks for two weeks with no problem. Now I am in the third week of wearing all of the colors, one at a time, with no problems. My allergy is my ankles swell, itch, turn red, and peal. And my feet swell and itch. I am also alergic to sun shine and floresent lights. February 11, 2014
Lightweight, non-restricting comfort My Husband loves these cotton socks. He does not like heavy, thick socks. They are the right height. He has been wearing these socks for many, many years. He appreciates that they are available in several colors. January 20, 2014
Cotton Socks These are exactly the kind of socks I have been looking for but have found hard find. (Synthetic fibers are uncomfortable on my feet.) December 31, 2013
No longer fit since no size 11 anymore! I have bought these and only these socks for 20 years. I always bought size 11 until a few years back when it became unavailable. Size 11 1/2 results in socks too large in the foot, in both length and width. They no longer fit well no matter how many times I wash them. BUT they are 98% cotton and I can find no others. Am allergic to nylon and to wool. Please reinstate size 11!! November 17, 2013
Bad socks These socks will not stay up at all and ride down into your shoe when walking. Not worth the price. September 24, 2013
Irreplaceable socks! My husband absolutely refuses to wear any other sock but these, and I don't know what I'll do if you ever discontinue them. He wants all cotton. Sport socks, like Nike? Too thick. Dress-type socks from dept. stores -- even Ralph Lauren! -- don't feel right, or have a smidge of nylon, or something wrong. I order at least a dozen pairs at a time and have for more years than I can count. All in the same color -- navy. Is he a stick-in-the-mud? Yes, he is, but he's my and Vermont Country Store's stick-in-the-mud! July 11, 2013
These crew socks are too lightweight I found the socks to be too thin and lightweigt. After a few weeks' wear, one sock has already developed a hole at the toe. It looks like I had to sacrifice thickness and durability to have non-elastic socks. I would hope that I could have non-elastic socks which were more sturdy. June 19, 2013
