Maple Sugar This is a first-time purchase. I love maple-flavored bacon and no one seems to make it any more. Now I can sprinkle maple sugar on my bacon when cooking it. December 2, 2013
Sells out apple pies I was going through my mother's "The New England Yankee Cookbook" when I found a recipe for Maple Apple Pie. I made this pie and donated it to a pie sale the women of my church were having. It sold for over $20.00 before the sale began. Since then I have been inundated with requests for more pies. I tell them to use Vermont maple sugar and go to the website for Vermont Country Stores and buy yourselves some. If you ain't using Vermont maple sugar in your baking you ain't using the right sugar. Palate Pleasure !! I couldn't wait for this product to arrive. Vermont maple sugar is great in my morning coffee. I also used it on buttered French toast. The result was a flavor beyond comparison. I will be placing another order very soon. Those who do not try this product do not know what they are missing. October 28, 2013
Powdered maple sugar - part of my breakfast! The description of powdered maple given by the Vermont Country Store is true - it's "far tastier than white sugar!" I use it almost every morning for breakfast on either cold or hot cereal, and if I run out of the powdered maple sugar, I order more as soon as I can. (There is no substitute for real maple sugar.) It also makes delicious maple butter, quick as a wink, but be careful-- it's hard to stop "tasting" it. Thank you, Vermont Country Store! October 12, 2013
Ike My favorite HOT breakfast cereal is made 'complete' by adding raisins and granulated Vermont Maple Sugar while cooking. I use about 2 lbs. /year.. Keep in an airtight container to prevent clumping. April 10, 2013
Maple Sugar I really appreciate that you always have the maple suger on hand. I have a sugar allergy and so I use the maple sugar in everything calling for sugar. thankyou so much January 8, 2013
A Major "Hit" This product was a surprise and huge "hit" for a friend's son! He asked where I had found it - so I told him! He may order some from you soon! If not, I will give him more for Christmas 2013!!! I figure he will use the granulated maple sugar in coffee and in cooking! I really enjoyed his reaction to the maple sugar treat!! January 5, 2013
Thomas Jefferson's idea !! I like to smoke salmon. I soak it for a day or two in brine with dark brown sugar, use maple wood chips, and bast with praline maple syrup. After reading an article in Smithsonian Magazine about Thomas Jefferson's love of maple sugar and his hope it would replace slave-labor produced cane sugar, I decided to substitute maple sugar for the dark brown cane variety. YUM YUM YUM My family loves it. Rich Schugar Key West December 18, 2012

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Vermont Maple Sugar …

"I had used your Vermont Powdered Maple Sugar for years - then LIFE happened. So, I called your Co. & found that you still sell it & the lady suggested I write you and tell you what I use it in. I will be ordering some. When I first started using it we lived in the mountains, 7 miles up a one-way mountain road, no electricity, no indoor plumbing, and gravity feed water to the house. I became very creative as we didn't just jump in a car for every little thing since the nearest grocery store was 30 miles away, and it was one of the things that stored & traveled very well when we were Snowbirds. Some of the many uses are: syrup (of course the best), mixed with butter as a spread on toast - fruit - sandwiches - etc., sprinkled over cakes - cookies - ham - etc., put in drinks (hot or cold - excellent in cappucinos - etc.), sprinkled over cream cheese on a platter so it can be scooped onto a cookie - cracker - etc., soooo good over ice cream. There are more but these are a few of my favorites. Love your product." - Linda, Hayden, ID

"I love your granulated and powdered maple sugar, I use it for cakes, cookies, cobbler, and on ham to sweeten rhubarb. Thank you for all the great help you give. Thank you so much; keep up the good work." - Sharon Scott, Spokane, WA

"

"We really love using Maple Sugar for slow cooking beef or pork when we go camping or at home. There is never any leftovers." - R.J. Parker, Grafton, WI
