Unbelievable I found a pair of these in my moms old cedar chest from the 70s and decided to "borrow" them! They work GREAT! Memory's restored! My father, who has passed on , gave these same scissors a long time ago. They got missplaced from my posessions, while I was in the hosbital this year. I was soo disappointed. I replaced them with a pair from (xbrand store) but they broke fairly soon after purchase. I went on line and found Vermont Country Store had a pair that looked like them. I held my breath until they arrived, and yes. They were just the same sturdy scissors!! Now when I pull the out, I can still think of Dad. December 3, 2012
