Gumby and Pokey: The Original Bendable Buddies

Suggested by Christine Elliott, Orange, CA

These pliable pals from those beloved clay animation cartoons of the 1950s and '60s haven't changed a bit-unlike us, they're as nimble as ever, bending over backwards in the name of fun. Both kids and adults will enjoy flexing their creative muscles as they pose these bendable buddies. Gumby is 5" tall; Pokey 4" tall and 4" long.

  • Made of bendable PVC
  • Make great stocking stuffers
  • Ages 3 and up

Stretch your imagination with these original bendable buddies.

Grandkids all want Gumby & Pokey I bought these guys for my husband, a huge Pokey fan!! All three of our grandchildren have asked if they can have them, range in age from 7-13. I have explained that they live at our house & they belong to Papa. May have to buy more sets if they don't stop fighting over who gets to play with them 1st!!!! March 14, 2013
My Son's Favorite My oldest son is 48 years old. He has always liked Gumby and Pokey. He is in a Holy Order " Holy Cross Brothers' He is the Vocation Director for the order. When ever he is home he checks the T.V. Guide to see if by chance Gumby and Pokey is on. So I bought this for him as part of his Christmas gift for this Christmas to come. Part 2 I also bought your broken peanut butter sticks for 2 of my kids and they just loved them. Hope to visit your store in the near future with some Lady friends of mine. Mary P. Great product - just what I expected. Bought this item for my 46 year old daughter. She remembers them from her childhood and has been looking for them for many yars. Sometimes we just want to have something that made an impact on us when we were children. She was surprised and loved them! The Vermont Store is a great place to find the impossible. Just Like We Remembered As Kids My pal, Jack, has had a long history revolving around the Gumby character, including a lifesize Gumby cardboard figure in his office and dressing as Gumby for a Halloween party this past October. When I saw this pair in your Christmas 2012 catalog I just knew they were the perfect gift for Jack. Thanks for helping me to put a big Gumby grin on his face this Christmas! December 26, 2012
Nobody Else Seems To Sell These! When I wanted to get some of these as gifts for children, I searched high and low, and the discount stores do not carry them, nor does a well-known toy chain. Thank Goodness that the Orton Family carries these and other wonderful toys of yesteryear! Too many kids have too many electronic toys, and they also spend too much time in front of the television. Consider some of these wonderful toys, throughout this whole toy section, at the Vermont Country Store, this Holiday Season, and help the kids to "still enjoy being kids." Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! November 11, 2012
Totally retro! My brother and I had these bendables in the late 1960's. These toys were part of our typical sibling rivalry - him controlling the Gumby and me the Pokey! The animation on the tv show also seemed very surreal and advanced and probably was for that time period. Following Gumby and Pokey - Quisp and Quake! November 7, 2012
Classic! My sister was a huge Gumby and Pokey fan when we were growing up. Now that we're older, these made a great Christmas gift to remind her of our childhood. November 2, 2012

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Gumby and Pokey …

"I have been collecting Gumby stuff for over 30 years. Coolest item I have found was a Colorform kit of Gumby and the gang. Paid 25 cents and have been offered $100!! It is still shrinkwrapped in the original box." - Edward Jackson, Early, TX
