I have at least four of these tablecloths that I use frequently. The white one that I use daily in my breakfast room has worn very well. Wine stains, A-1 sauce stains etc. all come out when pre-treated with Oxi-clean and washed in Oxo-clean. I love this tablecloth! However, this time, I ordered a larger white one and I felt that the quality of the product had changed. It was noticeably different than the other white ones I bought in the last 10 years. The material seemed thinner. Have you changed your supplier?

My husband and I recently ordered a custom curly maple kitchen table 36"x60", then had difficulty locating a tablecloth to protect it. A 54"x72" cloth was not to be found in our area. I remembered my now deceased mother, Vivian, ordering several cloths years ago from Vermont Country Store and we discovered that size still readily available on the site. After ordering one in Cranberry to see how it would fit, my husband asked me what happened to my mother's collection of tablecloths. I located them and discovered each of the three were of the same size we had ordered; only in different colors. How did mom know we would need that size and those colors for our own table years later? Many thanks to the Mountain Weavers and Vermont Country Store for bringing smiles to our faces and the fondest of memories of mom sitting at the table smiling back, and smoothing out the tablecloth...and the wrinkles of life.

NOTE: They are cotton and they do shrink a lot.
I've had a Wedegwood Blue one for many years and it has held up very well. Recently, we have replaced our dining room table and needed a bigger tablecloth. After reading reviews I took a chance and ordered next size up 62 X 108 for a table that is 75 x 48 oval. Before washing, it was way long, to the floor.
I prefer to wash in warm water and dry in dryer, because that is easiest. I actually like the way the weave has tightened up and now it matches the the older tablecloth and napkins I already had. I also bought a white one and both are lovely.
I think it fits PERFECTLY. Thank you!

I ordered a tablecloth that was advertised as "Cranberry". It arrived and the tag and order had a color code of "bur". And it sure was a dark purplish burgundy, not the bright Cranberry I expected. I decided I could live with it, then I washed it. I lost 20 inches from a 90 inch tablecloth and it doesn't come close to fitting my table. So now I have useless table cloth. What a waste of my money

These tablecloths WILL shrink, there is no "maybe" about that cause it's 100% cotton right off the looms.
My table is 36" X 60"
So I Upped the cloth size to 62" X 90 "
Here's how much shrinkage I got :
I threw it in the washer and then in the dryer, just like I would any other table linen. THAT is NOT the recommended care, but that's how I roll. Special handling or Line drying isn't gonna happen here. It came out of the dryer at 54" X 73" and fits wonderfully.
They get soft and thick after washing. Just LOVE these cloths.

We have been user of Mountain Weave Tables Cloths for over 40 years. The small local weaver here in PA want out of business a number of years ago so we had to find a new source for these great table cloths and placemats. Thank you Vermont Country Store for coming to the rescue and even coming out with new colors. If have a request that the placemats be made larger to account for shrinkage.

This is a lovely product but very disappointed in the amount of shrinkage after first washing. Prior to ordering, I read the manufacturer's information about shrinkage. Purchased the 60 x 108 size tablecloth for my 102" long table. Tablecloth had sufficient overhang on ends; overhang was not generous but suitable for my needs. Followed instructions for first washing and drying methods. Used hand wash cycle, cold water for wash and rinse. Folded the cloth into fourths and laid the cloth over the top of washer and dryer for drying. When it was dry, the tablecloth material was very stiff. I decided to put it in the dryer with a damp cloth on low for 10 minutes to see if that would soften the material. It softened the material but shrinkage was severe. The tablecloth no longer works for 102 inch table and could be a stretch for use when table boards are removed and the table is only 84" long. Very disappointed especially when I think about how much I paid for the tablecloth.
