Finding a silky-smooth nylon slip that fits properly is easier said then done, hence our snip-it half slip. With a snip and pull of a thread, you can remove one or more of the layered hem panels to shorten the length of the undergarment to your specific need. And since the hem of each tier is trimmed with floral lace, you get the custom length you desire while maintaining that finished appearance. Can be shortened up to 4". Approx. 27" long. Nylon tricot. Machine wash and dry. Imported of U.S. material.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Does not ship! I bought 2 of these thinking it a great idea to have two slips that could EASILY be shortened. Well, if it sounds too good to be true.... It usually is. Such was the case here. Contrary to the instructions, shortening this slip is no simple matter of just snipping a thread and pulling off one of the tiers. This slip has 3 tiers and comes in a long length, you can LABORIOUSLY pick out each stitch in a chosen tier to create a medium length slip, or a shorter length slip. As I sat, tediously picking out each tiny stitch I was reminded of days gone by in Home Ec. If you stitched something improperly, it had to be picked out, stitch by stitch. plus- if you are not careful, you will damage the lace edging giving the hem a "raggedy" effect. I am a good seamstress, but this slip defeated me. It is NOT what it says it is! The slip is nice, but if you plan on shortening it, be prepared to spend a lot of time under a bright light carefully removing each individual stitch. July 10, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Only at Vermont Country Store I was shocked that I couldn't find a long slip in any store. Then I saw them in the Vermont Country Store catalog. Great price too, and just like I remember. Very nice quality. June 5, 2015
