Ice Breaker Mats
Ice Breaker Mats
$14.95 - $34.95
Say Good-Bye To Icy StepsWe Vermonters have learned a few things about winter. Icy steps and doorways are hard to chip clean, and using salt and sand wears them down. That’s why we just love this ice breaker mat. Attach to your dry, clear stairs and doorways; when ice forms, step on the mat, and the ice breaks up. Then just kick or sweep it away. Remove in the spring or leave on for year-round slip resistance. Use multiple mats together for landings and walkways. We offer the mat in 2 styles: the stair mat, 8¾"x36", and the doormat, 24"x36".
- Step on the mat and ice breaks up
- Ice easily sweeps away
- Choose stair mat or door mat
At The Vermont Country Store, we offer products to help keep you safe throughout the winter, such as our ice breaker mats in 2 styles.
Gift wrap not available.

There you go dogs! We have been hit with quite a bit of snow and ice already this winter. My wife and I have three dogs, two dachshunds and a Great Dane! The only way to the back yard is down the deck steps! Before we had these mats, it was quite an effort to clean them off so I can get on the porch to shovel a path for the dogs! After we got the mats, it was just as advertised! I took the handle of the broom and hit it on the mat once or twice! What didn't fall off, I was able to gently sweep off! These mats have been a real time saver and back saver! February 10, 2014

Great! These work great, I have wooden steps that get a thin coating of ice and become very slippery. These take care of the problem completely. I would recommend them to everyone! December 4, 2013
