Mosser Jadeite Salt and Pepper Set, Handcrafted Using Original Molds

Originating as a giveaway at movie theaters in the 1930s, jadeite glassware quickly became popular for its sturdiness and ability to resist stains and heat. By the ’50s, jadeite was found in diners and home kitchens everywhere. Its old-fashioned heft and durability make this glassware as indispensible today as it was back then— hence this vintage salt and pepper set. Made by Mosser using original molds, the set includes an easy-to-carry tray in which the salt-and-pepper shakers conveniently nest. Shakers measure 3½" tall; the tray, 6"Lx2¾"Wx5½"H. Hand wash.

  • Vintage salt and pepper set made of jadeite
  • Handcrafted by Mosser in the U.S.

Add a little nostalgic charm to your table with this collectible jadeite salt and pepper set from Mosser.

Lovely I have needed a new salt and pepper shaker for 10 years but did not want to buy anything not made in America. When I saw this pair I fell in love and decided to purchase them. They are made well, the holes for shaking out the salt and pepper are well formed, and they are made in American. Thank you. February 20, 2014
A wonderful set This reproduction set is just beautiful. The quality of the glass is superb, no big seams, very smooth. The color is the most lovely of the jadeite colors. The jadeite glass tray with the loop handle is also completely smooth and beautifully crafted. This is such a unique set, I'm VERY pleased with it. The only thing to note is the lids to the salt and pepper shakers are exactly alike, the holes are the same size. The glass is so beautifully dense, one can't see which is which. I just put a tiny black dot on the lid of the pepper, a good remedy. February 5, 2014
