Heirloom-Quality Maple Leaf Sugar Bowl and Creamer, Made By Mosser Glass In the USA

This beautiful Carnival glassware is hand-pressed in a maple leaf pattern by Mosser, one of the oldest glass companies in America. Choose the 5"Dx6"H lidded sugar bowl, 4"Dx6½"H creamer, or both for a matched set. Carnival glassware has been around since the early 1900s and gets its name from the fact that it was often given as prizes at carnivals. With a multicolored iridescence similar to Tiffany glassware, Carnival glass was often called “Poor Man's Tiffany,” as it was an affordable luxury for the average household. Today it is prized by glass collectors from around the world. Hand wash.

Maple pitcher for maple syrup I bought the Maple Leaf creamer to use for maple syrup. It's perfect. The glass is thick and heavy with the maple leaf pattern and color. It's larger than I expected and holds a full cup of liquid. August 23, 2014
