For more years than we can remember people in these parts have relied on ragg wool handwear to get them through Vermont's brutally cold winters. The gloves, with genuine deerskin at the palms and fingers and a soft fleece lining, have a layer of Thinsulate® added to them to ensure your fingers stay warm since they are separated and not huddled together like with mittens. 85% wool, 15% nylon. To determine your size, measure your dominant hand around the palm. Hand wash, air dry. Imported of U.S. material.

  • Double layer construction for warmth and comfort
  • Thick natural wool outside with cozy fleece inside
  • Ragg wool is reliable and durable
  • For men and women

Comfort and style go hand in hand with our rugged ragg wool gloves.

Doing business in a win/win way I ordered these gloves thinking they were made in America. I found out they were from Haiti. I was surprised and curious since our church has an orphanage in Haiti so I called Vermont Country Store and asked why they order these gloves from Haiti. The answer I got was: "We have a great team and they try to buy from suppliers where there will be some good for both the supplier and us." That's all I needed to hear, other than buy American, I say buy Vermont Country Store. March 11, 2014
Great Warmers A little bulky but soften up after a couple of wearings and definitely keep your hands warmer than any gloves I ever had. Perfect for walking my dog. February 26, 2014
Featuring Warm Ragg Wool Gloves. I needed a warm pair of gloves. I saw these gloves and after reading their construction, and materials used in the gloves I decided to purchase a pair and try them out. After I got my gloves my wife wanted a pair. So now there are two happy people with warm hands. February 19, 2014
My search for the perfect winter glove ends! Due to the fact that this winter has been so very cold and we have had to date over 45 inches of snow, I have had to shovel and clean off cars often. During those activities I was changing gloves every half hour as my fingers froze. This situation sent me to Vermont Country Store and it was there that I found the ragg wool gloves that have saved my fingers from freezing and me from having to stop so often during my snow removal activities. Thus, my search for the perfect winter glove ended. Thank heavens I also ordered rag wool mittens. So often I have remarked that these gloves have been among the best purchases I've ever made. Good gloves for cold weather These gloves are just what I needed to get out and shovel snow in the very cold temps we have been having. Haven't experienced temps like these in a long time and I was just not prepared. That's why the gloves. They really keep my hands warm. February 4, 2014
Nice Product These gloves are the warmest I have had in many years. January 20, 2014
Gloves don't work Purchased two pair of the Ragg Wool Gloves; mainly to wear to a football game where the weather was forecast to be cold. The gloves were advertised to be able to keep your hands warm. That did not happen. My fingers were icy cold when wearing the gloves. My husband had the same results. Would not recommend the gloves to anyone January 20, 2014
These gloves are great. These gloves are great and definitely warm. Unfortunately the medium size I ordered was too large for me. They fit my husband's hand. Had to send them back and am now waiting for a smaller size to arrive. Wish they would hurry up but probably not in time for the big snow that is coming this weekend. January 4, 2014
