I always give new home owners with a fireplace a cricket for their hearth because it means good things will come to you. You are the only place I can find this item.

My aunt bought me this when I moved into my home, so I just had to buy one for my nephew & niece when they bought their homes. So, this is more of a memory item.

I needed a good luck cricket and couldn't find one at a store I had used before. Thought Vermont Country Store might have it. And so they did and solved my problem in time for move in date.

My daughter Valerie's nickname is Cricket. She is a twin, born prematurely and weighed only 3 lbs. She was not supposed to live. As we watched her in the incubator, we noticed that she rubbed her tiny legs together like a cricket...so, now that she is an adult, whenever I have a chance, such as your lovely cricket, I give her something to remind her of how fortunate she is to be here with us. She loves it!!!

I bought a hearth cricket for each of my daughters to place on the hearth in their homes. These are beautiful! The crickets arrived quickly from The Vermont Country Store.

I bought two thanks to a pre-holiday sale, and was able to give one to a friend as a gift and keep one for myself. Great gift!

I am satisfied with the products. However I paid for gift wrapping for three products and none were gift wrapped.
