I was surprised and delighted with how well this clock
works. It keeps time if kept wound. It has an
alarm that is awakening without being alarming. I am glad to have a product which does what it is meant to do.

Rated 1 out of 5 Wind-up key too hard to hold and twist
If you have arthritis or fat fingers, the design of the wind-up key makes it impossible to use. It's toooo little and you cannot grab it and turn it very easily. Also, the sound of the alarm is not that loud if you are hard of hearing.
I had one of these when I was younger and loved it -- times change!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Silva Best Travel Clock Ever
We recently purchased this travel alarm clock because lo and behold after 40 years of service the old one finally gave up. What a super clock because you don't have to worry about a battery running out you just wind it up and your all set. Hope this one lasts as long as the first one.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Sarg. Works well for the hard-of-hearing!
I am almost deaf in one ear and if I sleep on my good ear, I cannot hear the little beeping alarm of today's battery-run travel alarm clocks. I needed a travel alarm clock I could HEAR while sleeping on my good ear. This one worked great for me! I had had one like this one many years ago and liked it, so I went looking online and found it at The Vermont Country Store! While today's younger generations are not used to needing to wind an alarm clock, I find that to be of little consequence in order to have a travel alarm clock I can ACTUALLY HEAR! Thanks to The Vermont Country Store for carrying this item!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Navynurse Classic, Dependable, no-electricity alarm clock
Classic, vintage 1970's wind-up travel alarm clock. Accurate, dependable, loud, durable. My first one was purchased with S&H Green Stamps when I was a little girl (it retailed then for $12). I paid 3.5 books (as I was entitled to one book of S&H Green Stamps for every 10 books I pasted in for my mother) and walked 5 miles to the store to pick it up. I traveled the world with this Bulova Clock. It finally wore out 40 years later.
Thankfully, the Vermont Country Store has the wisdom to stock this perfect purchase! No regrets -- you're going to love it. I use mine as my daily alarm clock. Now that I have children, my exotic traveling days are through. But this clock reminds me of great adventures and past achievements to get up and rival!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Singbird A present for my mother
My mother's old wind up traveling alarm clock was broken. I have tried everywhere to get an exact replacement because she is 91 and has difficulty with the newer type clocks that have to have batteries and are more difficult for her to use due to her arthritis. I was so pleased to find this in your store. I am sending it to England. Thank you!

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Bulova Travel Alarm Clock …
"There is only one source to obtain a key wound alarm clock, The Vermont Country Store. Our first key wound alarm clock was also purchased from Vermont Country Store." - Waltraud Martens, Davenport, IA
"When I was a little girl, my grandmother took me to the Officers Club in New London, Connecticut, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The ladies at the club were playing bingo. My grandmother let me share one of her cards, and to my amazing surprise, I won and yelled "Bingo" in my small voice. The case was a soft leather, red with gold trim--I was so excited! I kept that clock for many years traveling back and forth to Connecticut with my traveling clock tucked away in my blue leather hat box, riding the Greyhound bus to visit my grandmother. Sweet memories!" - Donnalee Garofalo, Coventry, RI
