Rated 5 out of 5 by These candles are second to I ordered two of these, one for my daughter and one for myself right before Christmas. We really enjoyed them. January 14, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by Eureka! Bayberry candles are expensive everywhere but I have been on a hunt to find an authentic scent. This had it from the moment the unopened box entered my home. It was perfect. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because it does burn fast and towards the end the flame needs supervision. I have not lit it since Christmas night yet 18 days later I still enjoy the wonderful scent of bayberry every time I enter the room where the well-spent candle remains. It's delightful and well worth every penny. January 12, 2017
Rated 4 out of 5 by True bayberry Guess I was used to "fake" bayberry smell. I was pleasantly surprised to find this candle gave off a subtle, almost nutmegy, fragrance. Love it! It is long-burning. Would've given five stars, but the wick is abit off center.I can deal with that. Will buy more in the future! January 12, 2017
Rated 3 out of 5 by bayberry candle Love the bayberry candle history(as I am an-ex Penna. girl) and always try to keep one around for Christmas. This year I bought the 6in. candle and it has been frustrating me somewhat. It'll burn and go down into the candle sides (so that the flame is down inside) and you can't really see the flame unless you peer into it. So, I am wondering if I should be cutting the sides down as it burns or what? January 12, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Real Thing I have looked for years for real New England bayberry candles. It seems they would always be billed as bayberry, but would be some chemists idea of what bayberry should be. These are the real thing. Thank-you. January 12, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by Candle Light Over the years I have tried to find bayberry candles that smell like bayberry and last. This product is it! It stayed the traditional burn on Christmas and I still have half the candle for the rest of the winter. I highly recommend this candle for those who love the scent of bayberry. January 11, 2017
Rated 1 out of 5 by I do not smell bayberry. This is not at all the same candle that I purchased a few years ago. The scent is more spice than bayberry. I grew up with bayberry candles at Christmas. I was very disappointed. January 11, 2017
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEEN LOOKING FOR YEARS! What stands out from a childhood Xmas memory is the scent of bayberry candles my mother had. For years I have searched for just the same scent. I'm 74 now & I finally finally found it at the Vermont Store. You did not disappoint. Got one for my cousin and gave the catalogue to my sister-in-law. you'll probably be hearing from her.
