This snowman is just beautiful! He is the perfect depiction of THE SNOWMAN. If a snowman is what you want he's your guy. He has a beautiful glow when lit and his colors are very vivid. The perfect hat, scarf and wreath. He's a rollie pollie good sized one too. Much better than the decorations out there in the big box stores today. He made the entrance scene to my driveway just light up beautifully. And yes, as the other reviews mention a wonderful blast from the past. Don't find 'em like him anymore. So very glad I ordered him. Am very pleased with everything I've ever ordered from VCS. Thanks for offering him and also the beautiful lighted ghost I ordered back in the fall. For some reason, when I tried to review the ghost it didn't work. He is every bit as beautiful.

Bought one for a 4 year old who is obsessed with Frosty. He loved it so much that I bought one for my mom, and she loved it so much that I bought one for myself!

We had one of the original ones when I was a kid. My mom tried to throw him out when he started to weather and us kids cried so much she took him back in! Just wish he had the shovel/Merry Christmas sign and he would be perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by mcm Sloppy paint job but still great
Such a fun, nostalgic Christmas decoration. If they just paid more attention to doing a good paint job this would be perfect. It's not terrible but it is sloppy with paint missing in some places and showing up in places where it doesn't belong.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by leftydoo I love this, but the painting was bad
I love the idea of bringing back this adorable snowman from the early 70's, and using the same vintage mold. But when I order this last Christmas, the painting on it was so bad that I returned it. It apparently was airbrushed on, and it was very messy, unlike the photo on the website. Maybe the painting has been improved this year, I hope so.

My parents brought the original. I have ALWAYS loved him - he looked so cheerful and bright! He never failed to make an appearance each Christmas, and every time I saw him, it made me think of my dad. After I had a house of my own, I looked for one just like him for years. I was so excited when I found him on your site, and I told my mom that I had finally located THE Frosty. She was skeptical. The package arrived at her office, so she had to deliver him the last few miles. I was nervous and excited as I opened the shipping box. We pulled him from the wrap and squealed! It was our Frosty. My mom later told me that, when she and my dad had purchased him, my dad remarked that that was the most he had ever spent on a Christmas decoration. Needless to say, he was worth every penny. I am thrilled to have him. (Just an aside: the original Frosty held a sign in his red-mittened hand that read "Merry Christmas.")

Rated 5 out of 5Â by sun tan chico The good ole days
Growing up in the country, I loved going down the back roads and seeing houses lit up for Christmas. There would be Santa, the Snowman and even Snoopy out in the yards, You would see Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus also in the yards, but as time goes on, sadly we forget about the old traditions and the way we grew up and because today we live in a fast moving society, where everything is NOW, NOW, NOW! I see where folks have chosen to using the blow up Santa's and snowman and all the easy ways to decorate for Christmas and it makes me long for the slow, take your time, do it right decorations. Over the past few years, I have been able to find a five foot tall hard plastic mold Santa with a working light and Thanks to the Vermont country Store, I now have my Snowman!
