Nice, but not my favorite These sheets are soft, but not that cool, smooth percale I've been searching for. They are also quite large for my mattress; I don't have an extremely thick one, so the sheets get "baggy" when you sleep on them. They are good quality and if you have a thick mattress and like soft sheets, these are great. June 17, 2015
They really do wrinkle These are great sheets, but VCS means it when they say they wrinkle. They come out of the washer really creased and even when hung on the line to dry they're still very wrinkled. I iron them while they're damp, which I don't mind, but not everyone will want to do this. I'm not sure they're enough better than plain percale sheets to justify the work they require. June 6, 2015
New bed These sheets live up to my expectations. They are so luxurious feeling. Crisp, high quality and the price is right. I will be adding to the collection along with the 6oz. Portuguese flannel sheets. Outstanding. Our new, also luxurious and organic bed is decked out to the nines. June 4, 2015
Good Sheets - Crisp and Clean Bought these sheets when looking for sheets that would be more like the sheets I had when I was a kid. Those sheets where your body slides across the sheets, didn't bunch or bead. I like cool sheets and when I get warm, I like to slide my feet to the cold spots... Thus the search for new sheets. After comparing a few sheet vendors, we settled on the Vermont Store as they were "slightly" cheaper than the alternative. The sheets worked out great, they fit well and when you pull them out of the washer you can tell immediately, these are different. The sheets do exactly what I hoped. My only issues are that these need a slightly deeper pocket and someday, somehow, somebody needs to come out with sheets like these that have COLOR!!! I have oily skin and so white sheets do not work so well for me. But in the end my wife is no longer "sweating" at night and I'm comfortable again. Looking forward to someday getting some color! Quality sheets! Old Fashion Percale!! After buying several sets of sheets and the contour sheet (especially) wearing thin and pelling, I decided to try this resin free sheet. Slept on this contour sheet for now two years and it looks and feels like new. This is a soft, durable fabric w/ the feel of old fashion percale. Love this sheet, finally found quality material!! Nice crisp sheet Needed a good, sturdy bottom sheet and decided to take a chance. This one fits nicely and seems as though it will last. As others have stated, it does feel a little rough at first. However, I learned a trick long ago: wash and iron a sheet 5x to make the fibers lay down. One wash and iron so far, and they are already better. (No need to iron after the fifth, by the way). top sheet too small I liked the hand of these sheets a lot. But they were not wide enough and didn't cover the bed. Strange because the length was okay. (We have a regular king size bed.) They felt wonderful but the seams were scanty and the sheets just weren't that well made. So sad because the fabric was just what I was looking for. February 9, 2015
A good nights sleep I like nice feeling sheets and bought my first one about 1yr. ago. Now I have 2 sets and they are great. I will use them with the 4 other printed sheet sets that I bought from Vermont Country store. Now I can mix them together and enjoy a comfy bed all night long. As of right now have replaced all my old ones, glad I did. Thank you for having good quality products. February 2, 2015
