Since the 17th century folks have raised a cup of eggnog to toast the holidays, spiking it with whatever alcohol they had on hand—in our case, rum. Now with our incredibly moist eggnog cake, toasting to one's health has never been tastier. Garnish with the included nutmeg and serve to friends and family this holiday. Baked for us in Texas. 24 oz.

  • Rich and moist
  • True eggnog flavor
  • Spiked with rum
  • Nutmeg included

Made with a generous helping of rum, our Spirited Eggnog Cake tastes better than the real thing.

SO rich and delicious!! I was intrigued by the description of this cake last year and tried it for Christmas, and was thrilled with it! It was moist and rich and simply delicious, I just wish it was bigger! I'm trying a few new ideas this year, but this one will definitely become a favorite with me!! :-) November 14, 2014
I love the addition of the nutmeg topping. No story. Just a somewhat unusual and very good cake. January 10, 2014
was too dry This cake was not good at all. It didn't even taste good. The rum seem to be all at the bottom of the cake. wouldn't recommend this to anyone. January 4, 2013
Moist and Flavorful Very tasty. It can be served warm or cool with a variety of toppings. One day I served it with raspberries and creme fraiche and it was delicious. Another time I served it with a hot fudge sauce - really great! December 28, 2012
Egg Nog Cake I have served this cake twice to rave reviews! It is delicious and moist. Thank you-I have one more to serve on Christmas Day-I cannot wait to see my family's reaction!!!! December 21, 2012
A Yummy Hostess Gift My husband and I get invited to so many holiday parties and I always like to take a hostess gift to show my appreciation. Homemade treats are my specialty, but often I don't have enough time cook enough to keep up with our packed schedule. This delicious eggnog cake, spiked with rum, has always been well received and, honestly, is tastier than anything I could whip up. Usually the hostess serves it up right away, and not a crumb is left by night end. November 18, 2012
