Shaving Soap & Double edge Razors are the best When I started shaving, in the 7th grade, I was given a double edge "safety" razor and a cup with shaving soap. I used it for quite awhile and then fell for the gimmicky plastic razors and disposable blades. After many years I once again found a double edge razor and shaving soap. The plastic, expensive disposables don't compare for quality of shave. The blades are also immensely less expensive in spite of giving a much better shave. December 6, 2012
