Flannel Hot Water Bottle Cover
Much better than towels or pillowcases.
My husband and I both use hot water bottles often for relief of arthritis and sinus pains. We had been using towels and pillowcases to cover the bottles, but both solutions were sloppy at best. The flannel covers we recently bought from Vermont Country Store are the perfect solution. They fit just right and don't wrinkle or slide off in the night.

Not just for water bottles
I purchased this water bottle cover for its plaid, not for a water bottle. In fact, I don't intend it to ever be used for its' named purpose. I am a magician and from a family of Scottish ancestry, and I intend to use it as part of a "bagpipe" gag, then "dismantle" it and use the parts for a magic effect. The cover saves me a lot of time and trouble forming the "bagpipe", and I am staying on your mailing list because there are other items you carry that can also be useful in ways limited only by imagination.

It lets the warmth radiate out
I have used and given away at least 75 of these over a 10 year time period. Your Rubber hot water bottles are excellent as well and fit this cover perfectly. With this cover you slip the bottle in from the middle slot and the 1st time it is a bit tricky but once in place you do not need to take it off till you want to launder it. You fill and empty with the cover on as there is a convenient opening at the top to do this. The covers are very well made and since they are a cotton flannel it lets the heat radiate and still be cozy. I can not say enough good things about the quality and usefulness of this item. I am putting in another big order today to use as Christmas gifts since everyone that sees it wants one of their own.

Pretty but awful
I could barley get the bottle in while it was empty. You have to slide the bottle in from the bottom.
Are you suppose to put it in then fill it up with hot water??? I don't think so. The other more expensive one might be more practical. Will cut this one up to make it usable.
