Finally Found a Replacement Pair
I purchased a pair of scissors, identical to the pair I just got from Vermont Country Store, back in 1970 at the Oregon State University Bookstore. I have always used the scissors to trim my mustache. But after all these years the scissors have started to show their age and I have been looking for a replacement pair for at least 5 years now. Imagine my surprise when I saw them in the Vermont Country Store catalog. I immediately ordered a pair. When they arrived I was very pleased to see that they were an exact match in size and shape to my old pair - only the manufacturer's markings on the scissors were different. I am very pleased that my wife and I signed up to receive the catalog when we stopped at the store in Vermont last September.
