Rated 5 out of 5 by You only need one! I have fine flyaway hair. It is usually difficult to keep up away from my face. a friend recommended these hairpins and they are great. Only need one to twist my hair back and keep it in place all day November 9, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by It works Measurement: length 2.5", width 5/8 " semi flexible, thick, quality, fake tortoiseshell plastic. My use; don't spread pins legs to overload- that is why the round keyhole head is made, just slide in where needed to keep thick "horsetail" type, little past shoulder length hair in bun/top knot. I only use three per bottom half of bun/total- it holds fine all day in clean or not so hair- no hair spray needed. I only use L. Erickson hair woven type elastics, they are the best. July 25, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by THEY WORK ! Had chemotherapy a few years ago and my hair never restored its thickness. These hairpins actually work on thin hair ! June 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Look at my hair now great for my hair. no worry about bobby pins and the rubber tips coming off and pulling my hair. holds my hair in place ALL day. comfortable and light. don't even feel them in my hair. I will buy more. April 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic for very fine or thin hair! I have a full head of baby fine hair, and these hairpins work wonderfully. I use three to keep my hair in a bun when I get home from work, and it works great. If you don't "overfill" them, they won't stretch out of shape. I've been using this product for many many years. Yes, they eventually need replacing but seriously, if little pieces of plastic last you five years of everyday use, who's complaining? If you have thick hair down to your waist, these probably aren't the best choice for you (metal would be best), but for those of us who don't have volumes and volumes of hair that takes 30 minutes to blow-dry, these are great. The tips don't poke or snag which is also great. Very well made for the price! November 26, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not like the ones I've bought in the past I've used these hairpins for a few years, but can no longer find them in my local stores, so I was very excited to see them here. Unfortunately, they have all broken. I bought 20 of them, thinking that I would have several years use, but instead, I've only gotten a few months out of them. Very disappointing, as they are the only hairpins that work for me. March 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Definitely work These clips have made it so easy for me to throw my hair in quick bun that stays!! Only problem I ordered the clear ones which are hard to see...I lost @ least 3 the first day I wore them, plus its hard to see them in your hair. So I definitely would buy them again but I would suggest the brown ones instead! January 6, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing Previously, these hairpins have lasted for years. Out of my recent order (3 sets of 10) I broke 5 the first week. There is nothing different about my hair or the way I use the hairpins, so I conclude that the quality of the hairpins is the problem. At the rate they are breaking, since I ordered 30, they will last 6 weeks. This is not particularly cost-effective but there are very few alternatives. When they don't break, they are excellent and hold my hair securely in a chignon, which is how I've worn my long hair for years. December 8, 2013

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Womens Magic Grip Hairpins …

"They are magic! Having very thick, long hair, I find these wonderful. I can pull my hair into a ponytail, twist it four or five times, and wrap it around a high spot on the top of my head, and these pins hold it in place as a lovely chignon -- no rubber bands. Thank you for offering them." - Judy Selinder, Fallon, NV

"I have thick, knee-length hair, and kept wondering why I couldn't put my hair up with regular "bobby pins." One bun took 20 or 30! Then I started using these hair pins, and four pins hold up my heavy bun easily. I keep recommending them to everyone who says they have problems with regular bobby pins." - Kat, Detroit, MI
