I remember my Grandmother having one of these and using it when I stayed with her. Glad to find one and it works really great.

I bought this for my Husband for Christmas. He said he'd always wondered how these things work. It's a pretty neat little gadget. We haven't found anything yet to use it on, but we've figured out it's many tricks.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Boomers wife Gilhoolies a big hit as Christmas Gifts
We gave everyone in our family a Gilhoolie jar opener as a gift for the holidays. My husband was so impressed with his that he told me to buy them for everyone.
They were very happy, after a few laughs, to learn how ingenious this product really is at opening all those tough jars tops.
Thank you Vermont Country Store for offering clever, quality products.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Valentine I use it all the time!!
Back in the '60s we were given this product and can't believe it is still in good shape and using it today. I bought a number of them for friends and family and since we are getting much older, the jars are difficult to open. Now they will have a gilhoolie! Thank you.

As a "senior," I'm not as strong as I used to be. So now I get to experience something new: not being able to open various jars and lids. Gilhoolie Jar Opener to the rescue. If you need assistance in opening stuff, just buy this. You will love it.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Alessandra Finally we found it!
I use the Gilhoolie that belonged to my mother! She would have been 94 next month so that gives you an idea of how long she had it in her kitchen as a young bride. I remember her using it as a young child and thought it was such a nifty thing. I inherited the Gilhoolie when I married 35 years ago and it is still opening jar and bottles. My husband and I were just talking about how I might find another Gilhoolie then I received your email. Buying a bunch for our kids and another one for our house!

When I got married in 1979, my mother gave me a Gilhoolie, saying, "I don't know how I would run a kitchen without one." I agree with her! It opens every jar with ease. And it is a delight to me to be able to give the brides of my acquaintance a Gilhoolie of their own. I'm so glad you are carrying them again.
