Recommend with reservations
I bought this trimmer to replace my old "excellent" Remington nose trimmer that had worn out. This trimmer does not do the job the old one did. It takes twice as long to get the job done and the trim is not as close and the motor sounds puny. It also does not have a protective cover, so, I saved the old cover and attach it with Scotch tape.

A big disappointment
I got this for my husband, who uses a small scissors for this task. He once had an "As Seen On TV-type" ear and nose hair trimmer, but it was not of high quality. I thought this product's good brand reputation would make a second try worthwhile. While it doesn't cut his skin, it hardly cuts the hair, either. Very inefficient and irritating. The blade is puny and flimsy and lacks a cover to protect it when not in use (something that even the knock-off version had). No big deal, really, since this item has already been relegated to the junk drawer, and he's back to using the scissors. What a disappointment!
