Rated 5 out of 5 by Yes, it's worth the price. Is this a reasonable price to pay for a plastic-handled hairbrush? Absolutely not. Is there a comparable hairbrush out there for a reasonable price? Absolutely not. I've bought so many and have been disappointed. Finally, I broke down and splurged on this legendary, and ridiculously expensive, hairbrush. This is the best hairbrush I've ever used. I have very thick, waist-lenghth hair that I take very good care of. Hair doesn't like to be washed every day, but scalps do. This brush will take care of and improve both your scalp and your hair. I wish I hadn't wasted my money on shoddy hairbrushes. Better to save your money and buy this one that is reputed to last for decades. You won't regret it. July 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by great brush I have several of these brushes - one for the car, one for home, one for traveling. 2 of them are 30+ years old & in good shape. Then I dropped one & the back split - good excuse to buy a new one! May 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Brush! Very stimulating to the scalp as you brush your hair. February 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by THE best brush i have used mason pearson hairbrushes for decades! i have waist length hair (& have had, also, for decades.) it's the ONLY brush to use, even tho it is prohibitively expensive. i brought my daughter up on these brushes & i give them, in the smaller size, as gifts to family members. i am disappointed, however, that the newest brush is the same price, but significantly smaller than they used to be - for the same $$. oh, well. a TERRIFIC product! Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything you've heard is true To say I was skeptical about buying such an expensive brush is an understatement, but I have very long hair and even with great conditioners have trouble brushing it out. I was simply taken aback by the difference this brush made. After 50 my hair seemed a little "coarse" and wavy, even after a ton of conditioner. I do not know why, but simply brushing my hair with this brush makes it look shiny and straight, it's like I had a keratin treatment. My daughter has long curly hair and keeps "borrowing" this brush because her hair isn't frizzy after using it. I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it. I'll probably save a ton on money now on those expensive conditioners. February 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by 20+ years & counting! I've had my brush for over 20 yrs! I also have the pocket version. These are by far the very best brushes ever made. Worth ever penny! They will last you a lifetime if you take care of them...just keep them clean. Obviously very well made brushes. Gentle on your hair and just the best for your hair too. I can't say enough about these brushes. They are the ultimate hair brush by will never find a better brush, I promise! November 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth every Penny For Valentines Day, my mother-in-law got me this brush which was totally unexpected. I have used it faithfully since February 14. I also baby it -- constanly cleaning it and washing it. It makes my hair feel sooooo good and it looks sooooo healthy and I get sooooo many compliments. I probably would have never spent that much $ on myself; however, I have the worlds most wonderful mother-in-law and she spent it on me. I can't thank her enough. A special brush and a special gift!
