A Brush with Fate My husband has had his current hairbrush for at least 20 years - maybe longer. Unfortunately his hair did not last 60 years. The old brush was worn out and a passing comment from him one morning as he ran it through his thinning locks gave me a Christmas gift inspiration. I Googled boar bristle brushes, combed through the responses, and The Vermont Country Store popped up with just what I was looking for. I quickly placed the order and hid the package when delivered. Since we don't exchange gifts anymore he was quite surprised that Santa left him something. And then when he realized it was a new brush, he bristled with joy!
