Not like the ones I've bought in the past I've used these hairpins for a few years, but can no longer find them in my local stores, so I was very excited to see them here. Unfortunately, they have all broken. I bought 20 of them, thinking that I would have several years use, but instead, I've only gotten a few months out of them. Very disappointing, as they are the only hairpins that work for me. March 5, 2014
Definitely work These clips have made it so easy for me to throw my hair in quick bun that stays!! Only problem I ordered the clear ones which are hard to see...I lost @ least 3 the first day I wore them, plus its hard to see them in your hair. So I definitely would buy them again but I would suggest the brown ones instead! January 6, 2014
Disappointing Previously, these hairpins have lasted for years. Out of my recent order (3 sets of 10) I broke 5 the first week. There is nothing different about my hair or the way I use the hairpins, so I conclude that the quality of the hairpins is the problem. At the rate they are breaking, since I ordered 30, they will last 6 weeks. This is not particularly cost-effective but there are very few alternatives. When they don't break, they are excellent and hold my hair securely in a chignon, which is how I've worn my long hair for years. December 8, 2013
These hairpins are great During the years my grandmother lived with our family, I would brush her hair which she wore up. We used hairpins very like these. I was so glad to find them to use them for my own, very fine, hair. From one generation to another . . . August 5, 2013
Really works! I got these for my Mom to try. She wears her hair up and has used the long metal u-shaped hairpins. She said the metal pins would give her a headache and would slip, but these new magic grip hairpins don't give her any headaches and she only has to use four of them. June 10, 2013
These are indeed Magic Grip Pins! These are great pins for long hair and they are available in clear!!! I love these and thank you for making available items that are difficult to locate or not at all available. June 7, 2013
I finally found my hairpins again! You will never be sorry for ordering these pins! I have very fine hair, and there has been nothing that can keep my thick/find hair then these hairpins. My sister told me about them, I could hardly believe plastic pins would hold my hair up. They are fantastic! March 20, 2013
Just as the review said My mom who is very shy in public had a problem she thought could not be solved. Every time she would go through the TSA the scan would buzz and she would have to be body searched. She is 83 and the only thing that made the machine buzz was the bobby pins in her hair bun that is made of metal. We were not very hopeful about these pins because she has very little hair but just like it said, it magically grips her hair and stays on. She will leave for her trip soon and this time with confidence that she won't draw attention by beeping at TSA lines! December 26, 2012

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Women's Magic Grip Hairpins …

"They are magic! Having very thick, long hair, I find these wonderful. I can pull my hair into a ponytail, twist it four or five times, and wrap it around a high spot on the top of my head, and these pins hold it in place as a lovely chignon -- no rubber bands. Thank you for offering them." - Judy Selinder, Fallon, NV

"I have thick, knee-length hair, and kept wondering why I couldn't put my hair up with regular "bobby pins." One bun took 20 or 30! Then I started using these hair pins, and four pins hold up my heavy bun easily. I keep recommending them to everyone who says they have problems with regular bobby pins." - Kat, Detroit, MI
