If you have thinning, fragile, or damaged hair, our gentle 100% boar-bristle brushes are good for your hair and scalp—an ordinary hairbrush with synthetic bristles can pull and damage hair. Regular use encourages lustrous shine and healthier looking locks. Women’s boar-bristle brush is 8¼" long; Men’s hairbrush is 6¾" long. Natural bristles may shed for the first few uses. Boar Bristle Brushes For Both Men and Women is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Hairbrush Thinning and baby fine hair was a problem. This brush goes through my long hair without pulling out a brush full. I have less trouble styling now and love my new brush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good toothbrush for gums The first few days it smelled a little barnyard-y (which I would expect) but it's fine now. I love its softness.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basics The brush is well-made with a full head of bristles. They are a bit softer than I prefer, but it works well with my permed hair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very soft I bought this for my bald husband for Christmas. He still has hair on the sides and back, tho' and he's been using the same hairbrush for years. At 65 he doesn't want for anything, but when putting his laundry away I looked at the old brush and said-time for a new one! He likes it very much. We all got a laugh out of him getting a hairbrush for Christmas.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WOOD SPLIT ALMOST IMMEDIATELY The wood part of this brush started splitting almost immediately after being put to use. Poor planning and poor construction the apparent problem. The brush is made from laminated bamboo. The glue gave way in one of the seams. The holes of one of the rows of bristles was drilled directly into the glue joint. Get a solid back brush somewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good old-fashioned brush Love this hair brush. It reminds me of the hair brushes we used when I was growing up. Well made and sure to last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Brush I'll Use This brush does a great job at pulling the natural oils of my hair down towards the roots, in doing so, the ends of my hair are no where as dry and damaged as they were before. Before using this brush the ends of my hair would be so dry they would break and split. I also noticed I don't loose as much hair every time I wash it. I believe this too must be from the natural oils being pulled through my hair by the brush and probably a little bit more scalp stimulation the brush produces.
