An Old Friend Many years ago, probably 35 or 40. I began using English Leather After Shave, but somewhere along the line, it was impossible to find it in the stores. So I began trying out various colognes and after shaves - finally settling on one I liked. I used that one for probably 20 years and then it was discontinued. I again tried several fragrances, but did not find anything that I loved. Then I got the Vermont catalog and there again was English Leather. Christmas for Dad in the 70's I used to get this for my dad for Christmas every year and then I couldn't find it any more...saw it ordered it and giving it to him for his 84th Christmas. Hope we still like the smell...ha ha ha..it was what all the cool dudes wore back in the early 70s. December 7, 2012
