Wind Song Stay On My Mind... My Best Friend, (who I met 40 years ago while trying on uniforms for high school) sent me a plane ticket to get away and visit her in her new house in South Carolina. I wanted to send her a hostess gift for her generosity and found "Wind Song" cologne--a scent that was very popular, and worn by us during our high school days. Not only that, but it was her Mom's signature scent. (Her mom died 20 years earlier on the very day I was supposed to arrive!). It smells like Mom....a happy olfactory memory Each morning, as my Mom exited the shower, she would spray" Windsong". I could smell the fragrance as she desended the stairway on her way to make breakfast for all of us. Windsong HAS stayed on my mind for the two decades since she left us. A friend of mine told me a similar story about her Mom...soooo...when I saw it in your catalog, I bought each of us a bottle and now our grandchildren will share a similar olfactory experience. The heart of a child At the age of 12, my "heartthrob" gave me Wind Song colonge for Christmas. It lasted me for years as I only wore it on special occasions or when I knew I would see him. Little did I know until years later, his Mom picked it out for me and put his name on it. However, when I saw it online today, emotions from the heart of a 12 year old girl, overtook me and I could see his smiling face and smell the wonderful scent of Wind Song! Favorite Memories Wind Song Cologne was a favorite of mine when I was in high school back in the day. It still invokes great memories of good times and even now when I wear it I remember those days.
