Garibaldi Biscuits (Set of 5 Pkgs.)

If You're Longing For Those Forgotten Raisin Biscuits, Then You'll Love These Garibaldi Biscuit Bars

Some people knew them as Garibaldis, others simply as raisin biscuits, but whatever you called these long, flat cookie bars, they surely have been missed since they disappeared from supermarket shelves. Crisp in texture, each not-too-sweet biscuit has a hefty helping of dried currants baked right in, which adds that familiar fruity tartness to every bite. And since a single biscuit measures about 7¼"x 2¾", it's perforated so you can divide it into five easy-to-eat sections. Garibaldi biscuits are the perfect complement to tea, coffee, or ice-cold milk. Each 3.5 oz. package contains 2 long Garibaldi biscuits.

  • A hefty helping of dried currants is baked right in
  • Each package contains 2 biscuits
  • Each biscuit can be broken into 5 easy-to-eat sections
  • Set of 5 packages

Find old-fashioned treats that are still as tasty and wholesome as always at The Vermont Country Store. Garibaldi Biscuits are a perfect complement to tea, coffee, or ice-cold milk.

THESE BISQUITS ARE SO GOOD WITHOUT BEING TOO SWEET I JUST CAN'T LEAVE THEM ALONE. I AM DIABETIC 2 BUT THESE BISCUITS DON'T RAISE MY BLOOD SUGAR LIKE OTHER SWEETS . THE ONLY TROUBLE I HAVE WITH THEM IS TRYING TO NOT EAT TOO MANY A DAY. I WILL CERTAINLY BUY MORE OF THESE GOODIES. June 10, 2013
Garibaldi Biscuits I remember the slightly softer raisin cookies from my childhood. Along with a cold glass of milk, they were a perfect after-school snack. Though I have ordered this brand in the past, I will not order them again. This time they were much too crisp, almost as if they had been burned. And the packages are small. This is not a good buy. Childhood Raisin Biscuits I was so thrilled to find these in your store! Bought them for my brother for his birthday and he immediately sat down and ate them upon opening the package! DEEEElicious! And what memories! June 10, 2013
stale I bought these for my husband because he said he loved the raisin cookies we used to be able to get years ago. I thought this product was similar. When I opened the one package up they were dry and stale tasting. He couldn't eat them. I put the other four packages in the freezer. They were very expensive also. I would not recommend them to anyone. June 6, 2013
Back for more Back for more, need i say more . These crackers aren't for everyone, but i love them. I'd explain them as a current scone that's been squeezed into a cracker. The Best By Date was almost a year away. I'd recommend trying these. May 30, 2013
just like i remembered them! these were my favorite cookies at my grandmothers. For many years, Sunshine made similar raisin biscuits. They stopped making them about 10 years ago. Thank you so much for bringing back my cookies and the memories of eating them. May 20, 2013
Oh so good! I am thrilled to be able to get these raisin biscuits once again. Thank you Vermont Country Store for providing so many wonderful, hard-to-find products from the past! May 13, 2013
