Few are those who do not appreciate the pleasure of the inimitable and sultry scent of White Shoulders. Introduced in France in 1932, this soft and powdery honeysuckle fragrance instantly resonated with American women, too, and has remained popular ever since. But while White Shoulders eau de toilette, with far fewer fragrant oils, is still easy to come by, the authentic White Shoulders Eau de Cologne is a rare find. 2.75 oz. spray bottle.

  • White Shoulders eau de cologne was introduced in France in 1932
  • A soft and powdery honeysuckle fragrance

Finding long-lost, memory-evoking fragrances, like White Shoulders, is one of our specialties at The Vermont Country Store. Romantic White Shoulders has been a favorite of women around the globe since the 1930s.

Memories of Mom This was my mom's favorite fragrance, so I always made sure she had some on hand, but she was frugal and used it sparingly. When she passed 20 years ago, we found 3 unopened bottles in her dresser; I took 2, and whenever I felt myself missing Mom, I'd spray some on. Those 2 bottles are long gone, but I was pleased to find this sweet honeysuckle cologne at the Vermont Country Store. I have a honeysuckle bush that blooms every year in my yard, but whenever I need a sweet boost, I still spritz myself with White Shoulders. Thanks, VCS. November 23, 2014
Grandmother's favorite I bought this because this was my grandmother's absolute favorite and only perfume. She was not able to smell anything when she got older except for just a few times when her sense of smell suddenly came back for a very short period. On one of those times she smelled this on someone and she went out and bought it. It became her daily scent even though she herself couldn't smell it! Strange but true! I use it (and spray it around the room) to remind myself of my funny, lively, bright grandmother. I love it. October 22, 2014
wonderful fragrance I've used this cologn for over 40 years, but it has gotten hard to find. I was so happy to find it here at the same price I paid for 10 to 15 years ago. I bought 2 bottles of it and I still love it and get lots of complements when I wear it. A great product at a great price. January 31, 2014
Surprised my wife She loved it. Used to buy years ago. She thought it was no longer available. Nice fragrance. December 30, 2013
Heavenly Thanks so much for stocking some of the best fragrances ever made. This is a beautiful fragrance! December 21, 2013
Memory White Shoulders was the very first perfume I ever had. My Dad gave it to me for Xmas way back in the 50's and I have never lost my love for it. It holds a special place in my heart and memories. September 14, 2013
A Quiet Smile This was a gift to my middle daughter. This scent was worn by my Mom and Kristen loves it too. She isn’t given to histrionics but her quiet smile told me she loved having her cologne and powder in White Shoulders. I love giving gifts! January 9, 2013
Don't think this is the original formula White Shoulders was my favorite perfume for many years but I stopped wearing it due to the change in the formula. The White Shoulders available in department stores these days smells like disinfectant to me. Recently, when looking through a Vermont Country Store catalog, I noticed they advertised the original formula and ordered it. While it does smell slightly better than the White Shoulders I've been able to find it has a hint of the disinfectant smell. Definitely doesn't smell like the original formula. December 27, 2012

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our White Shoulders Eau de Cologne …

"This fragrance has always reminded me of the honeysuckles I used to pull apart and lick! Good memories...wonderful fragrance!" - Bobbie Gale Bonds, Prince George, VA

"The first time I smelled White Shoulders fragrance was at college in 1964, when one of the girls was going out for the evening. She had used the bath gel, powder, perfume, and the hand lotion. She smelled luscious. I later purchased it when I started working and have used it off and on ever since. I like its light fragrance, and I think the powder and hand lotion smell the best. White Shoulders is such a nice, light fragrance. I hope it never goes out of production in my lifetime!" - SHELIA DEAN, WOODLAND PARK, CO

"I only wear retro scents. They bring back such wonderful memories. White Shoulders is one of those . . . but even more so, her sister scent, Most Precious. Do you no longer carry this? You were the only vendor I could find this at and was so happy to finally find it again. My mother -- who is now deceased -- used to buy this for me when I was in my late teens and early 20s, back in the '60s. It holds precious memories for me; ergo, Most Precious! Thank you. Sharynne Giaimo" - Sharynne Giaimo, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

"I always loved White Shoulders, and I noticed in the early '70s that some of my older college professors would wax poetic whenever I wore it. After that, if I ever needed extra time to complete a Physics or Chemistry assignment, I'd make sure I doused myself in White Shoulders before I went to talk to the professor. Cheap trick, but it usually worked! ;-)" - Nancy Lemmon, Novato, CA
