Superb taste, great price When I see the price of chocolate-covered espresso beans in coffee shops, candy stores, or anywhere else they're offered, I feel so lucky I can find them at VCS -- and the quality has been excellent each time I've ordered them, which wasn't the case when I got them in pricey little bags elsewhere. Always tasty, never crumbly, never stale, with a nice high-quality dark chocolate. TThey're so good, and there are enough in a bag, that if you get a last-minute invite to a party, you can decant some into a pretty container and have a house-gift that will be truly welcomed! Alarming the coffee beans I made the critical mistake of taking my dark chocolate-covered espresso beans to work when they arrived. I gave a couple to a few selected friends. I hid them, they found them. If I had had to leave them there for longer than that day I would have had to put a silent alarm doggie fence around them. Thank you for the joy! Happy New Year! These are the best! I've tried dark chocolate espresso beans from Trader Joe's and a local grocery store that sells bulk candy....they just don't compare. Vermont Country Store uses real Arabica coffee beans which gives you that wonderful taste. The aroma when you open the bag is heavenly. The beans average about 1/2" in size so it's a very satisfying 'fix' to just eat a couple. I will be ordering these again as gifts! November 3, 2012
