Mountain Weave All Cotton Napkins

A Vermont Tradition of Quality and Style

Made by our neighbors in Dorset, Vermont, these sturdy, practical Mountain Weave cloth napkins recall the homespun fabric hand-loomed in the mountains of Vermont 150 years ago. 100% cotton napkins are woven on state-of-the-art looms by master weavers, and then each is individually cut and hand-fringed. Washing the napkins tightens the weave and softens the fabric. Expect some shrinkage because they are made of 100% cotton. For best results, machine wash cold and stretch the napkins while they line dry. USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Used Mountain Weave for years When I was first married 50 years ago, I bought a blue Mountain Weave (MW) tablecloth with matching napkins for my large dining table. Unknown to me, my father bought a red MW cloth for a round antique walnut table. My father died, I inherited the table and the red cloth, moved into an apartment, and ordered 4 MW napkins to match. I love these linens, even though they cannot be dried in a dryer; I use a rack in my apartment. June 14, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by The napkins were a disappointment. The napkins were a disappointment. They were stiff, scratchy and uncomfortable, even after washing. April 28, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice quality napkins. Great quality napkins. Nice colors, not too thick or too flimsy, just the right thickness. Withstand multiple washes. Hopefully they will last a long time. Highly recommended. April 6, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by They get better and better I have had the small size of these napkins for years and we use them daily. They get softer and more absorbent every time they are washed, so I decided I needed some of the larger ones, too, to use for us and for company. No touch up ironing required and stains wash away. Rated 4 out of 5 by These napkins are a favorite I've had these napkins many times in the past and always loved their softness; however, the ones recently purchased seem stiff. I didn't check to see if they were 100% cotton. I still like them, but they aren't as soft as I would like, March 12, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Quality and Style - Yes, but Softeness - sadly NO I loved the variety of colors available in the Mountain Weave Cotton Napkins but truly expected the material to be much softer. My hope is that after several washes they will become softer. March 6, 2015
