A Trip Down Memory Lane Thank you for bring this back...I had a red one years ago, and my daughters each had a childrens' version (which I still have). I bought this for my oldest granddaughter. She loves it and loves following the family tradition! June 21, 2013
Deja vu I bought this apron in yellow in about 1975; I just received my new apron, in blue. Almost immediately, I realized it was impossible to put on. If I do it on my own, those long ties get tangled and twisted. If my husband helps, it looks perfect--but I need an apron I can just toss on and plunge into kitchen chores. I asked myself, "How come the old yellow apron is so much easier to wear?!" Then deja vu hit. I took a close look at the yellow apron. Ah-ha! The telltale signs of long-ago scissoring and re-stitching. I had used one of those long ties (cut shorter) for a standard loop around the back of my neck, then cut the other into 2 pieces and attached it at the waist to make standard apron strings. Looks like I've got some sewing ahead of me... again. January 4, 2013
For Apron Lovers Comfortable, functional, pretty...what more could you ask of an apron? January 1, 2013
I love this apron This apron will fit anybody. Since I'm short I've always had to make a tuck in an apron and tie it up under my arms to get it fit right, which is hardly attractive. I don't have to do that with this one. September 17, 2012
The Apron that comforts my heart For years I felt as if I "just did not belong" in the world in which was mine to grow, become educated, and find some way to help others while working to help support my family. A few years ago a lady adverised 1940's styled aprons online. I bought two. Then I saw one in a church craft fair..newly made..and bought it. Then the calico one you advertised in your mail order catalog struck my eye and heart. When it arrived, I found myself wearing just because it "felt right" on me. Thank you for such a treasured product. Blessings, an appreciative shopper August 15, 2012
