It doesn't work Maybe there's a trick we haven't discovered, but neither my wife nor I can make this thing take hold of a lid. April 4, 2014
As Advertised Went to three households and we all like it. March 21, 2014
Works most of the time It will open some jars effortlessly. Others take some fiddling with. February 12, 2014
great jar opener! I find the device is very useful and easy to put into use. February 10, 2014
Piece of junk The so-called can opener is s piece of junk that doesn't work at all!!! February 8, 2014
My Go-To Opener I already have one of these...has been in the family since I was a child. I'll swear by it. I don't know what makes it so easy to use. It doesn't require much torque. I think it's in the design of the handle. The "teeth grips" don't hurt either. This thing will open anything from a ketchup bottle to a jar of canned green beans. If a lid seems to be a little stubborn, just tighten up a bit. If you position the handle parallel to the body, it will fit neatly in your drawer. Mine isn't wood and is an art deco turquoise color. It originally belonged to my grandma. January 16, 2014
The Best! I bought this jar opener for myself over a year ago because there were jars that my husband and I simply could not open despite the various jar openers we used. As Christmas approached I thought of my daughter and sister-in-law who run into the same problems with opening difficult jars. So for Christmas I bought them each one. They absolutely love them. These open even the most difficult jars! I threw all the others out making more room in my drawer! Just THE BEST!!! December 27, 2013
Archeological Dig reveals Valuable Artifact A much older version of this jar opener was part of my mom's possessions. It will open any jar! No other jar opener comes close. When Mom died in 1983, I quietly claimed it as my own. I let my brother think that it had been misplaced. (Bad Sister!) I saw it in your catalog just before Thanksgiving and knew what my brother's Christmas gift would be. (Good sister!) December 26, 2013
