When we opened The Bryant House Restaurant in 1959 right next door to our Weston store, our grandparents selected these classic jelly glasses for their workhorse nature, timeless style, and ability to take the extreme abuse that comes from everyday use in a restaurant.

After 55 years, we are still using them today. Sure, we have lost some by accident caused by young hands reaching for our famous ice cream sodas, but most remain intact and in good working order due to the fact that they are still made in America by a company dating back to 1818.

With a unique sheen full of ripples and swirls and light-catching facets perfectly positioned for a good grip, our classic jelly glasses are elegant enough for company and a reliable choice for your everyday glassware. These wonderful jelly glasses are sold in economical sets of four and come in four sizes. Dishwasher safe.

Practical and pretty I purchased the iced tea glasses and I am very pleased with them. The texture of the glass makes them easier to hold and they go through the dishwasher with no problems. They look beautiful when filled with iced tea because the texture of the glass gives the tea a "watercolor" effect, like the style of painting called "pointillism". It is a little hard to describe but if you see it you would know what I mean. Anyway, I think if you order these glasses you will be very pleased with them from both a practical and an aesthetic viewpoint. September 30, 2013
The Best Day-to-Day Glasses If anyone is looking for an all-around good glass for personal or entertainment use, these jelly glasses are difficult to beat. They come in popular sizes for a variety of occasions, and they are comfortable to hold. Furthermore, they are easy to clean--either by hand or by dishwasher. I have used these glasses for many years, and if I need to get more--even a replacement--I know I can get them at The Vermont Country Store. July 18, 2014

Drink Up!! I love these glasses but I wish I had gotten a larger size. Maybe I will buy the larger size and find somewhere to store all my drinking glasses. March 25, 2014

Customer Service that cares about customers!! We were ordering some replacements for glassware broken over the past few years and there was confusion on the website as to which of the smaller glasses were which and we inadvertently ordered the wrong glasses. Your customer service rep listened, looked at the website and agreed that it wasn't clear, credited our account and waived the return charge and the reshipping charges. The customer was really important!! March 22, 2014
not happy I ordered iced tea glasses and if this is iced tea glasses ounces have changed. i can't pour a whole pepsi in one of these glasses and that is with no ice, apepsi is 12 ounces!!!!!! 2 of my glasses have cracks on the inside, so to say i'm dissapointed is putting it mildly. i have bought several things from the vermont country store and never had a complaint but this is a complaint. thank you for allowing me to tell you of my frustration with this purchase. What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Classic Old-Time Jelly Glasses …

"This is one my favorite lines of glassware. They are beautiful and very sturdy, but I am biased. My father designed these when he worked at Libbey Glass in Toledo, Ohio. I remember him bringing home the clay models and being so excited because he was sure that we would be seeing these glasses in restaurants all over. As I recall, the textured pattern that hides fingerprints so well took a particularly long time to do." - Rebecca Mays, Oregon, OH

"These are glasses that look good with either my everyday dishes (Fiestaware) or my Lenox bone china for special occasions. They're also great because they're sturdy but not heavy, and the slight texture and slim design make them easy for me to hold. I have trouble with a lot of other types of glasses because I have rheumatoid arthritis, and most are too big around or too heavy. Thanks for keeping these around. I'm getting ready to order some more to have enough for my son's rehearsal dinner." - Karen Landenberger, Knoxville, TN

"After 35 years of marriage, I finally got all my glasses to match! I love the "Chivalry" by Libby. They look hand blown. There were also a footed water goblet and a red wine glass. I'm so happy to have been able to replace the wine and water glasses. Thanks for keeping them in stock." - Jackie, Enumclaw, WA

"I purchased 2 of the iced tea Jelly Glasses. They've very nice for the price and the design is more interesting than most mass-produced glasses sold in stores. I would recommend them to people with arthritis because they're lightweight and easy to hold." - Carrie, Shorewood, IL
