I haven't really used this fork, yet, but I can tell from the feel it is perfect in size and weight. It is long enough to keep my hand from bacon popping. It comes packaged in the nicest container, too. I put the paring knife I ordered in with it after I washed both of them and the container so they will be protected in my utensil drawer.

My Grandma had a fork just like this and she used it for everything. I have long wished for one of my own and now I have it. Whisking eggs, checking if food is done, retrieving a pickle from the bottom of the jar...it is a useful widget.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Old fashined on GA I have been looking for this everywhere.
I have been using a 3 tine fork in the kitchen for over 40 years. Since I use it for everything, I have wanted a 2nd one but could not find it. Very glad to finally have another one

This little "Granny" Fork is an excellent tool. I have two in my kitchen. In addition I keep extras on hand to give for little gifts to relatives and friends.

I have bought this product from Vermont country store before, but this fork leaves me wanting! The tines are too straight with the haft and difficult to use. I am tempted to try to "fix" it by bending the fork some, but am afraid it will brake...so will use it much less than anticipated.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Texas SPQ best cooking fork I've found
This is a high-quality, well sharpened cooking fork. I've had mine for many years, probably over 20, and just bought two more, one each for a daughter and daughter-in-law. I have a hard time functioning in a kitchen without one of these forks being available. I wish you sold this fork with a longer handle, the better to avoid the spatters from sauteeing.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Quality and Value-rista unique and valuable
I have plenty of terrific kitchen knives ( Who needs a handgun when you have a Wusthof Trident 7" Santuko?) OH but to find a FORK to hold the food while I use them! At cooking school we learn how to hold food correctly while cutting, but still sometimes a fork is the best / safest thing. It's easy to find GIANT forks for serving, and barbeque but THIS IS THE SIZE you need in the kitchen and at the stove. It's well made and handles well.

My Mother-in-Law used one of forks all the time and became a favorite item for her granddaughter to use while in the kitchen learning her skills. What a great find for her to remember all of the growing up fun times with Grandma.
