Rated 4 out of 5 by Good glassware, but not tight fitting lids I like using glass instead of plastic, and these are good heavy glass containers. However, the containers warped a bit during manufacturing and the lids (also glass) wobble and don't fit very well. To keep foods air-tight I'll have to wrap it with plastic wrap. But all in all I'm happy with them and would recommend. September 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Old style glass storage I think glass is better than plastic. I grew up with glass storage containers like these. That you can cook with them all the better. Got all 3 sizes, but probably could have passed on the largest size and got one more of the smaller or middle size. Just two of us in the house, so not that much for leftovers. Came very well packed. Rated 5 out of 5 by No more plastic! Going back to basics! My niece, a chemistry major in college, has told all of the family to stop using plastic in the microwave. These old fashioned glass dishes are the perfect replacement! One was broken during shipment...I problem!!! Replacement with no questions asked...but many apologies that it happened! Vermont Country Store lives up to their stellar reputation!!!!!! I will continue to order from them! December 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Got rid of the plastic. This is what my grandmother used. Died in car accident at 95, sharp as a tack. Who the heck knows what's in the plastic stuff. December 10, 2012
