Product could use a slight improvement The pot makes great coffee, the only problem is the stem. The first stem failed, the spring broke at the weld. Service was good, a new ot was forwarded immediately. The stem on the replacement was not perpendicular to the base, I straightened it and so far it has held up. February 13, 2013
UNPLUG! Wanting to unplug, I rudely discovered finding a quality stove top percolator is not an easy task. Searching far & wide this particular percolator could be one of the better out there. Weight and quality decent, the top clear knob is plastic, not glass but it is solid and non removeable. Nothing like the aroma of coffee percolating - the sound is a comfort too. The BEST cup of coffee Our son wanted a coffee perculator that sits on the stove for Christmas. While I was doing other shopping online, I just happened to run across this one. It is amazing! As soon as gift opening was over, he made a pot of fresh coffee! It really does taste good. Actually I think we made a couple pots of coffee! The coffee pot is well made - nice and sturdy. One great pot! After hurricane Sandy I ordered one of these pots as I was the only house in the neighborhood with a gas top stove. (We scrounged an old aluminum pot from someones basement and the neighbors all came here for coffee.) I then received 2 more as gifts! Wow what a pot! January 1, 2013
this product didn't last I was excited to find a stainless coffee pot and purchaced this one. However after only a few months it began to fall apart. The glass top and gasket is poorly constructed and now wont stay on. Very dissapointed in the quality December 27, 2012

SENT TO RELATIVE AFTER HURRICANE KATRINA My stepmother's niece lives in Baton Rouge, LA and they were without power for weeks after Hurricane Katrina. They LOVE their coffee, so after the 2nd day, I sent them this coffee pot because they could brew coffee on their outdoor propane grill. Sending it with rush delivery they had it in 3 days and were finally enjoying coffee again in the midst of chaos. Sometimes its the small things that matter. Best way to prepare coffee Coffee prepared in a percolator produces the best cup of coffee ever. But finding a good quality percolator seemed difficult until I saw the one in the Vermont Country Store catalog. I had found ones at local camping/outdoor stores but they were not the quality I was wanting. Glad Vermont Country Store carried this one. August 7, 2012
