Good product I have had several cup warmers over the years. Most of them have not kept the drink warm unless there's only about a 1/2 inch of fluid in the cup. This one is much better. I'll probably buy a couple more. February 7, 2013
Some disappointment with this cup warmer I've used electric cup warmers for years that had a plastic base. They worked great for eons...but finally gave out. However, I could unplug them and move them to different locations around the house, office, or art studio because the plastic base never got hot to the touch...only the warmer plate was hot. I thought I would love these warmers from Vermont Country Store (I bought 2 of them) because of the ceramic base, HOWEVER, this ceramic base gets so hot that I can't move them around (unless I use a pot holder!!) to different locations to continue using it. I really got a burn the first time I picked it up to move it. It never occurred to me that I'd have to turn it off and let it cool down before handling the ceramic area. So, while I do like the large hot plate area for the cup--which is larger than most other cup warmers....and I always use a very large mug...so it fits great--still, I almost wish I had purchased more of the plastic base type so I don't have this problem. I am still considering returning this product. It really is a disappointment. January 19, 2013
Worthless! I tested this with hot water in my cup and a thermometer. After some time, the thermometer registered 104 degrees--not much higher than body temperature! Hey, I want my coffee hot. Body temperature, even with a fever, just doesn't cut it. This "appliance" is worthless. Don't waste your money unless you like tepid coffee or tea. December 18, 2012
Coffee and Money Saver My husband was throwing out too much coffee in the morning. After re-heating in the microwave several times, it just didn't taste good. The new cup warmer enables him to keep the coffee warm all morning and still retain the good taste. What a great product! August 22, 2012
