Keeping That Morning Coffee Warm
A hot cup of coffee is almost essential to getting the day off on the right foot. Sipped while still in pajamas is the way to go.
After two failed Brand X warmers, the appearance of a warmer in your catalog lead to ONE more try and am I glad I did. Keeps that starting fluid hot and drinkable for the amount of time it takes to sip the cup. Just the right temperature too.
I recommend it highly.

Great coffee warmer
I have used one of these cup warmers for several years and it is still going. It is on most every day. I am completely satisfied with it.

This product doesn't do the job
The heating element is not hot enough, and won't warm the liquid in a cup to an acceptable warmth.

Keeps my coffee at the perfect temperture for sipping!
I like to sip my coffee during a meal and not have it turn cold on me half way thru the meal. This electric cup warmer keeps my coffee just right.

I have had several cup warmers over the years. Most of them have not kept the drink warm unless there's only about a 1/2 inch of fluid in the cup. This one is much better. I'll probably buy a couple more.

Some disappointment with this cup warmer
I've used electric cup warmers for years that had a plastic base. They worked great for eons...but finally gave out. However, I could unplug them and move them to different locations around the house, office, or art studio because the plastic base never got hot to the touch...only the warmer plate was hot.
I thought I would love these warmers from Vermont Country Store (I bought 2 of them) because of the ceramic base, HOWEVER, this ceramic base gets so hot that I can't move them around (unless I use a pot holder!!) to different locations to continue using it. I really got a burn the first time I picked it up to move it. It never occurred to me that I'd have to turn it off and let it cool down before handling the ceramic area.
So, while I do like the large hot plate area for the cup--which is larger than most other cup warmers....and I always use a very large mug...so it fits great--still, I almost wish I had purchased more of the plastic base type so I don't have this problem. I am still considering returning this product. It really is a disappointment.

I tested this with hot water in my cup and a thermometer. After some time, the thermometer registered 104 degrees--not much higher than body temperature! Hey, I want my coffee hot. Body temperature, even with a fever, just doesn't cut it. This "appliance" is worthless. Don't waste your money unless you like tepid coffee or tea.
