For your convenience, your old mountain cookware has been preseasoned and is ready to use. Cleaning: After cooking in you Old Mountain Cookware, it can be cleaned by putting in hot water and bringing to boil, (never use detergent and alsoavoid putting hot cast iron into cold water). After pouringout hot water wipe dry with a paper towel. If something sticks to the surface, simply dislodge it by using a spoon. Do not use any abrasive item to scrub cookware - this can removeseasoning. While pan is still warm from washing, apply a fine coating of oil or oil spray to all surfaces. Do not cleanin dishwasher.
