Not well made at all, like something out of a child's kitchen set.

I had been looking for an easy way to poach just one egg ( I have a 4 egg poacher which is too big now and I need something smaller). I found my answer in your catalog. I was thrilled, I had one many years ago and kept looking for a replacement. One suggestion, season the egg holder as you would a non-stick pan, it worked better than adding butter. It is easy to use and the eggs do not take too long to cook. It does take a little practice to get the eggs cooked to the way you want them but once you get the hang of it they come out perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by CarolAnne Just 4 minutes to a perfect poached egg!
This is so simple to use, and much easier to clean, than trying to poach an egg in a saucepan! I followed the directions included with the pan: don't put the egg in until the water boils. It tastes so good. A small supper on those nights when anyone just needs a "bite"!

Growing up, a poached egg on toast was a favorite, "special" breakfast my mother made for me. Eventually, I inherited her single-egg poacher. Earlier this year, we had a niece living with us temporarily and when she emptied my dishwasher, she put the poacher "somewhere." Haven't found that secret place in months, so I began searching in stores for a replacement. Bought a new-fangled cup from a fancy kitchen store , but cooking an egg in boiling water just wasn't the same. Last month I remembered your store and sure enough THERE IT WAS. Just what I had been looking for, but even better because the cooker is Teflon-lined. I have no doubt that I will now find my old one, but that's okay---I will share.

I am the only one in my family who likes poached eggs. I have a similar egg poacher that I have had since before I was married...35 years! I have tried bigger, fancier ones over the years, but I keep coming back to my little single poacher. When I saw this in your catalog, I bought TWO. I am retiring my old one and taking one to the lake house. It's like having breakfast with an old friend!

Great for an individual. I live alone and did not want a multi-egg poacher. I can put my egg in, and in just a minute or two on low-heat (I have an electric range), my egg is perfect. Couldn't be happier as I have looked for one of these in my area and none of the stores here carry it.
