Customer-requested cake pans have a rotating cutter bar that prevents cakes from sticking. After the cake has cooled, rotate the bar around the entire circumference of the pan and flip. The cake slides out quickly and easily. Tinplate. Hand wash. Tapered pan has 8" bottom and 9" top; 1½" deep.

Size I ordered these pans for gifts. They are not 8 inch pans like the ones I have,(straight sides) The bottom is 8 in., the top is almost 9 inches. I'll give them to someone, but the wording in the catalog needs to be changed. Thank you. Love your store and have ordered often. Thank you for being there. Baking again with no problems Years ago my mother had these cake pans with cutter bars for easy cake release. Of course over the years and moves, they were gone. When I found these pans in an ad in a magazine, I immediately went on line and ordered them. They were exactly like the ones my mother had used years ago. Now I really enjoy baking again knowing the layers will pop out easier. May 17, 2013
Every cake pan should have this feature. I remember this cake pan when I was a kid. I make a delicious cake called Wacky Cake. The only problem is that it sticks, even with a well greased pan and I make it so often that parchment paper gets expensive to use. I've been looking for this pan for a long time and was thrilled to finally find it. Now my cakes come out perfect :). May 9, 2013
Not the quality they used to be I worked at your store in the early 80's. I bought those cake pans then. The ones I got to replace them are not as good a quality as the first were. May 7, 2013

I am SO excited!!! Although I have no idea where I got them (way too many years ago), I had two of these pans...an 8" and a 9". Finally had to throw away the 9" about a year ago because I just wasn't comfortable eating out of it any longer and was quite confident I would never find a replacement. Thanks goes to whomever is continuing to make these pans. They are perfect for coffee cakes.
