Originally designed many years ago to warm New England dairy barns, this fan-forced electric milk house heater will cozy up drafty homes, garages, or campers. Built to last, with rugged steel construction, it has a 1500-watt element with two heat settings, a fan-only setting, and a thermostat for comfort control. If it tips over or if the temperature gets too high, it automatically shuts off and a caution light comes on. Use on floor or tabletop. 17½H x 10L x 9D. ETL listed.

Met Every Expectation Needed a "chill chaser" after a small discount bin heater played out after 3 or 4 years. trust this because of safety features, warms up a room in no time I have a house with some rooms I don't regularly use in winter and don't heat as uninsulated. But when i want to make use of them I use this heater and they are as cozy as could be. Also depend upon this heater up in our cabin in the Adirondacks to take the chill off when we first arrive. Saved us one cold winter!!! Long ago, when I first moved to San Francisco, the only place i could afford to live while searching for work, was a two-room apartment which had broken radiators!! Until the owner could repair them,( he reduced my rent for a few months!) my mother ordered one of these heaters for me, out of the goodness of her heart!!! It made my place absolutely cozy and lasted for years!! Actually, it never wore out. I passed it on to a friend who needed some extra heat. HEATER WORKS GREAT -- KEEPS ME WARM! This is a great heater -- it keeps my drafty basement apartment in New Jersey warm. I like the fact that it has 2 settings and a temperature control knob so I can adjust the temperature if it gets too warm or not warm enough. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the temperature control does not enable me to specify a particular temperature (e.g., 70 degrees or 75 degrees); it's basically trial and error. Nonetheless, I am very happy with this heater, and it is an excellent value for a reasonable price. I recommend it warmly! November 6, 2012
