Attractive This lamp was purchased for my pre-teen granddaughter for her birthday. Since her birthday is some weeks away, I can't state how she feels about it, nor has it been plugged in yet, so final judgment in that area yet to be determined. But in appearance, it is lovely and I'm excited to see her reaction. She loves to read and this sweet lamp clipped on her headboard should make her very happy. A hard to find bed lamp. Been looking for a bed lamp to put on my headboard. This it just the thing. The shade is very nice. I am using it now for a night light when I get up in the Night. Put in a 5w bulb and it's perfect. Just reach up and there you have it! Just make sure your headboard is high enough to accommodate the lamp if you wish to read at night. March 26, 2013

It's my second lamp I have always liked to read before falling asleep. I would often wake in the middle of the night to find my bedside lamp still burning. Several years ago while perusing your catelogue, I found ths solution to my problem in your headboard lamp. And it worked, as I felt myself starting to drowse, all I had to do was reach up and pull the chain. Unfortunately, in a recent move of some furniture, a heavy object fell on it and crushed the shade. I could hardly wait to get my new one. December 10, 2012

This lamp has made my bedroom safe for me. I have a lot of stiffness due to fibromyalgia and also get up several times during the night to use the restroom. In the past, before I bought this lamp, I took several falls between my bed and nightstand while reaching to turn on the table lamp. Now it is wonderful to switch this lamp on before even moving to get out of the bed. An added plus is that the lamp is wonderful for reading in bed. Bedlamp We were trying to replace a bedlamp that had been used as a light on an old piano and had worked perfectly. This light sits too low to accomplish the task but it's a beautiful lamp so we will just build something to attach it too and make it work. Very good quality and it's something that is hard to find.
