SO MUCH FOR HI-TECH!!!
I NEVER should have given up my land line and was searching for a phone that was the right size and color for my small desk. I was so glad The Vermont Country Store was able to solve my problem. Thank you.

Phone wit a cord
I couldn't find a phone that I just plugged in and didn't need some battery or fancy set up -- This is just what I wanted and works great.

Slimline Phone Is Great
My son needed a new phone for his room. When I saw this in your catalog I thought it would be perfect because he doesn't have much shelf space. He loves it and loves the red color also!!!

Cute but Very Flawed
First, let me say that the Vermont Country Store people were just GREAT when we called and told them that the phone had arrived without a coiled cord. They sent a replacement right away and could not have been nicer.
Alas, the phone itself is kind of junky. I set it up on my night table, pulled the clear label off the top of the handset and thought "ready to go." The first time I answered it, however, I found it is SO light that the phone can't uncoil the wire and when you lift the handset, it picks the phone right up off the surface. In my case, it then fell down behind the night table. After I finished talking and went to hang up, I discovered it was STUCK TO MY HAIR! Yup, the glue from the label had not come off. I then tried removing the glue with soap and water, alcohol, and last of all oil. It is not sticky anymore but you can see a dull area where the label was.
So, overall, a disappointment. But is it pretty cute! although the dull patch kind of takes the edge off the cute.

The perfect gift for someone who thinks they don't need anything!
It's hard to come up with ideas for gifts for someone who is over 90; they either buy it for themselves or don't think of it as a "gift" item. Mom loves this phone and was truly happy with it. We try to find a lot of small gifts that are also useful to buy for her and this was definitely a hit . Now I may get one for myself as well!

Too much sticker gook left behind!
How can we get the sticky sticker off of the phone--it seems to be virtually impossible to remove all the gook. Other than that, we are ready for the next power outage!

This product is only so-so.
I needed to replace a trimline wall phone that was inferior for that purpose because the receiver wouldn't fasten securely on the hook. The hook on the new phone still isn't perfect but it is usable. The receiver looks as if it is wrapped in wrinkled shrinkwrap but the "shrinkwrap" doesn't come off. I'm disappointed but just don't have the energy right now to shop further.

Phone Redux
I've been looking for a bedside phone for some time now and have tried the latest and greatest to no avail. Some looked great but didn't function well wile others interfered with my email. Finally, I spotted the slim line in your catalog and ordered one. I had one long ago and can't remember why I replaced it. Anyway, when it arrived I hooked it up and it was really great: it didn't fall off the table when I picked up the hand set, the sound was great and it diidn't interfere with my emails, and, the price was best of all!
