My Grandma's phone I absolutely love this reminds me so much of my Grandma's...I spent a lot of my time with her and now when I look at this phone memories flood back...I have her picture by it...I do wish it had the old ways of dialing rather than push button but that is ok, I adore it. My Grandma would be very pleased as well, she did not like new/modern things, I inherited that trait!! Thank-you so much Merry Christmas and God Bless December 25, 2013
for the man who has everything My husband likes to complain about "fancy gadgets" and is unwilling to accept all of the new electronics that are updated, seemingly on a daily basis. Whenever anyone asks him about his cell phone, which he really dislikes, he tells them that his idea of a phone is a large black thing that sits on a desk and has a dial. It's surprising how many people have no idea what he is talking about. When I saw this reproduction phone in the catalog I just had to have it as a Christmas gift for him. The only way it could be any better is if it had a real working dial. December 26, 2012
almost exactly like my godmother's! Saw this phone and remembered afternoons with my godmother: tea and crackers, then calling Mom to watch for me as I walked down the hill back home! It has some modern features and some old -fashioned ones, and is really cute. My family is enjoying it as an extra phone. November 23, 2012
Fits right in!!!! I now live in a 1922 guesthouse that was previously owend by my best friends mother --- I praticalyy grew up in the house. The vintage phone I bought is an EXACT replica of the phones that were originally in the house (except glad to say not so heavy - the old ones weighed a ton!). I was so pleased with the first one that I bought a second for me and 2 more for gifts. Not only is it a conversation piece, its practical, and as opposed to the portable ones I have in the house, the ring is loud and remniscent of growing up! I have it sitting next to my "Big Chill" retro refrig in my kitchen and they both just make the room! November 15, 2012
