Complicated I purchased this with the hopes of converting all of my cassettes but...... it is just too complicated for me. My rating has nothing to do with the quality of the product, it is just too many steps for me. I had hoped that it would be simpler to use. ;o( June 13, 2013
Watch out for Viruses I followed the instructions for Window's seven and the website I was directed to go to corrupted my computer and I had to spend $250 to rid my laptop of the virus. I would not recommend this product to anyone. April 6, 2013
tape quality poor The connection to the computer seems to work, and the software is readily available if the disc doesn't (as one reviewer said). The basic problem is the cassette player itself -- wow and flutter during playback. I didn't expect much for the price, but I don't think its results will be listenable. March 6, 2013
Disappointed again in technology To Whom It May Concern: I ordered the above product with hopes and expectations that it would be a fairly simple device compared to another product I purchased several years ago. As it turns out the software disk which I installed was out of date and I was directed to their website to download a compatible version. I followed directions and spent several hours trying to find a fix to a problem with its functionality, an integral part of the programming. Finally, in exasperation, I opened up another program on my computer and tried recording through the usb cable included with the cassette player. This seems to work although I have not spent enough time with it to make sure. December 24, 2012
