These genuine rubber stair treads provide safe footing and help prevent stairway falls. Unlike slippery vinyl treads, resilient rubber muffles footsteps and lessens the noisy clatter of bare stairways. They're 24" wide by 10¼" deep to wrap over the lip of each step. Use a staple gun, adhesive, or carpet tacks to install, and trim with scissors. Use on basement, attic, and back steps. Color is black. Treads are sold individually; buy as many as you need.

  • Made of genuine rubber
  • Designed to fit over the lip of each step

Rubber stair treads provide secure footing for your stairway.

Rubber Stair Treads Stair treads were needed for basement steps. I could not be more pleased with the quality. I am anticipating many years of service. And the price was very reasonable. March 12, 2013
Sturdy and Safe Stair Treads. These are heavy duty, not flimsy vinyl like they sell in the popular, big stores. They are excellent for outdoor wooden stairs that can get icy. Highly recommend for their durability and safety factors. February 5, 2013
I can order things that others do not carry Everything that I have ordered from The Vermont Country Store has met my utmost satisfaction. What I enjoyed most believe it or not is when I ordered Lifebouy Soap. I am 76 years old and remember that production when a was a wee lad back in Michigan. Also I enjoyed the rubber stair treads which were of the highest quality. December 20, 2012
Slippery Deck Stairs The back stairs on my aging redwood deck became slippery when subjected to moisture from rain or snow. I purchased and installed Real Rubber Stair Treads which eliminated the problem. They were easy to install and are very attractive. October 17, 2012

What Our Customers Are Saying about Our Stair Tread …

"Bought these several years back, stapled to wooden breaks off, secure/firm footing winter ice & snow and summer rain. Buying new set since staples are wearing out edges of my 15 year old ones!! Tread still great." - Kate, Plum Island,
