Tripod Clothes Dryer
This drying rack is perfect for drying inside in the winter, very functional, uses little space, folds up nice. Great value! First bought one for my daughter and her small condo where she has limited space. She loves it and after I saw hers, I had to get one too!

poor quality for outdoor use
Blew over in the wind in CO once and broke one of the plastic hanger arms.

We had purchased one several years ago while visiting Vermont. Just loved its versatility and compactness. When I accidently knocked it over and it broke, we were immediately online to reorder another. It arrived in two days and I was back to ironing.

Great for hanging clothes not for dryer
I use this in my basement for drying my work-out clothes. Great for that but wanted to use also on my deck. If windy out--forget it. Not heavy enough to withstand any wind. Fell over 3 times before I ended up taking all to my basement.

I saw this in the Catalog, I just knew it was what I had been looking for. It is just like it says it is. Easy to assemble and store. Perfect for shirts and pants and sweaters, wet or dry, it can carry a load. I love it.

I dropped an old (25 years or more)tripod and was going crazy trying to find a replacement. Needless to say I was very happy the day the Vermont Country Store catalog arrived. I just wish it was a bit shorter - my old one fit under the cabinets in the laundry room and this one is too tall. But, other than that it is must on my ironing day!

Bedroom Decoration: Damp-dry Sweaters
I wear cotton tops, light-weight in summer, sweaters in winter. They shrink a little with each washing and lose their flexibility. Thus, I damp-dry them and then hang them up, decorating my bedroom with them until dry -before I discovered the really nifty tripod clothes dryer in the Vermont Country Store catalogue.
For a while, I contemplated the $40.- price but finally decided tot try it. It was a very good investment. all my tops in the load of laundry are hung up in a jiffy, and can be left in a minimum of space to dry all the way.
The tripod dryer is light but sturdy enough to hold its load, and it folds away very easily. I can stash it in the space behind my washer, so it is handy whenever I need it. Now I can look forward to the job of washing my tops and not having to drag them to my bedroom, hanging them up all over the place to dry.
If there is always something that can only be damp-dried, this tripod dryer is the perfect tool for finishing the job.
