Just what I was looking for
One reason I buy from Vermont Country Store instead of some of those cheaper catalogs is that I can depend on their quality. This bedspread is a perfect example. The fabric is soft and doesn't wrinkle. The design is lovely. It is well constructed. And to top it off, the colors are exactly what I was looking for to finish off a newly redecorated bedroom. Thank you, Vermont Country Store!

Light and easy
This bedspread is light and comfortable for summer. It has no lining. Pretty colors that blend well with my sheets and other pastels in my room. Perks up the place. Easy to make the bed, fits well for size. Nice fabric, easy care. Love the ruffles. Wash and dries nice, no wrinkles except for the plisse that is supposed to be there. I like the change for the room...well pleased to have chosen this particular one. Gardenscape is not found other places that I looked. (Other patterns were available). So get it here!
Bottom line: I like it.

Very pretty and feminine bedspread
My mother-in-law is someone that doesn't like change. She still used the bedspreads with airplanes that she made for my husband when he was 5. He is now 45. She had the bedroom painted a very pretty pink and wanted to use the same spreads. Her daughters and I convinced her to let us get new ones. These were the ones we picked and they look great! The pastels are pretty and not overpowering. There are two twin beds in the room and it looks wonderful. It looks like a completely different room. The spreads are very light so we'll probably have to look for different ones for the winter. Oh gosh, another change!

Very Light Weight Cover
My husband was complaining that our bedspread was too hot for the summertime, so I knew that I could find a very light weight bedspread at The Vermont Country Store. I ordered this particular one and received it within days. I'm very pleased with the bedspread over all. It's pretty and summery and just enough for a summertime cover.

Very Pretty
I found this bedspread to be like a breath of fresh air. It is delightful and brightens and lightens the room. The soft watercolor pattern is nicely rendered and the textured Plisse material is very light and feels nice to the touch. I also very much liked the ruffles at the base. It looked wonderful paired with my light pink coverlet and decorative pillows.
My only complaint is that it is not made long enough on either side for the wider mattresses. It is two to three inches too short. The Head to Foot measurement is fine however. Could VCS please request this item be made longer or in varying lengths to accomodate the variety of mattress sizes today.
